The Adventures of Maxx Penn™ is an old school side scrolling arcade shooter which follows the escapades of Maxx Penn, an ambitious ghostwriter who contributes articles to magazine publishers. Unknown to the publishers, his genius comes through the posesion of an unusual camera. When taking photos of the supernatural, the camera generates the most amazing stories as well. And the more ghosts, ghouls and goblins captured, the better the story!

Maxx Penn
As the protagonist, Maxx has a dark past that he keeps under wraps. Previously a washout writer whom nobody wanted to publish, Maxx Penn’s luck is turned when he came upon a mysterious camera which can create astounding stories based on the pictures it took. Landing a job as a freelance ghost writer, Maxx Penn has never looked back since.
The Mysterious Camera
This inheritance following the death of an estranged relative gave Maxx Penn just the kick start he needed. It comes with a tale spinning genie! Completely untalented and needing all the help he can get, Maxx Penn becomes inseparable from the camera. The two make an unlikely team and set off on adventures together.
Letter-from-the-Editor
From time to time, Maxx Penn will receive from his editor letters proving vital clues to paranormal activities - launching Maxx Penn and his camera on ripping adventures to collect materials for his ghost articles.
